How to Set Up Zoom & Google Meet with Reeserved

Auto-generate video meeting links for every booking. Zero manual work.

Before you start

  • A Reeserved account (free trial works).
  • For Zoom: a Zoom Pro, Business, or Enterprise account with Server-to-Server OAuth enabled.
  • For Google Meet: a connected Google Calendar (see the Google Calendar setup guide).

Step-by-step setup

Follow these steps to connect Zoom & Google Meet to your Reeserved account.

  1. 1

    Choose your video platform

Decide between Zoom and Google Meet. Google Meet is simpler (works through your existing Google Calendar connection). Zoom offers more features (waiting rooms, recording, breakout rooms).

  2. 2

    Option A: Google Meet (easiest)

If you've already connected Google Calendar, just enable "Video Conferencing" in Settings. Every calendar event will automatically include a Google Meet link. No extra setup needed.

  3. 3

    Option B: Zoom — Create a Server-to-Server OAuth app

Log in to the Zoom App Marketplace (marketplace.zoom.us). Go to Develop > Build App. Choose "Server-to-Server OAuth" type. Give it a name (e.g., "Reeserved Booking").

  4. 4

    Get your Zoom credentials

After creating the app, copy the Account ID, Client ID, and Client Secret from the app dashboard. Add the required scopes: meeting:write:admin and user:read:admin.

  5. 5

    Enter Zoom credentials in Reeserved

Go to Reeserved Settings > Video Conferencing. Enter your Zoom Account ID, Client ID, and Client Secret. Click "Verify Connection" to test.

  6. 6

Enable video conferencing for your resources

In your Resource settings, toggle on "Video Conferencing" for resources that should include meeting links. You can have some resources in-person and others virtual.

  7. 7

    Test it

Create a test booking. The confirmation email/SMS/WhatsApp should include a unique meeting link. For Zoom, check your Zoom Dashboard > Meetings to see the auto-created meeting.

Troubleshooting

Google Meet link not appearing in calendar events

Verify that "Video Conferencing" is enabled in Settings AND that Google Calendar sync is active. Meet links are added to the calendar event, so both must be connected.

Zoom says 'invalid credentials'

Double-check your Account ID, Client ID, and Client Secret. Make sure the Server-to-Server OAuth app is activated (not just created) in the Zoom App Marketplace.

Zoom meeting not created for a booking

Verify the required scopes (meeting:write:admin, user:read:admin) are added to your Zoom app. Check the Reeserved logs in Settings for error details.

Can I use both Zoom and Google Meet?

Currently, Reeserved uses one video platform per tenant. Choose the one that works best for your business.

Tips

  • Google Meet is the easiest option — if you already have Google Calendar connected, it's just one toggle.
  • Zoom Server-to-Server OAuth doesn't require each staff member to have their own Zoom account. One admin account creates meetings for everyone.
  • Each booking gets a unique meeting link — no shared rooms or reused links.
  • When a booking is cancelled, the meeting is automatically deleted (Zoom) or the calendar event is removed (Google Meet).
